I offer services and skills that support the UX design process from start to finish including: 1) Discovery, 2) Design, and 3) Testing. Throughout these phases I work closely with the project team that includes subject matter experts and others to optimize the UX Design process.

Discovery
It is through the Discovery phase of the design process that we gain insights on the necessary design through various exercises that I may employ. These include:
- Brainstorming with key stakeholders user requirements, system constraints and core metrics of success.
- Performing ethnographic research including user interviews, surveys, card sorting and other exercises to gain insights about users.
- Creating artifacts such as Personas, User Scenarios and User/Customer Journey Maps based on insights gained in the Discovery phase.
Design
The purpose of the design phase is to create a graphical and interaction design that satisfies user goals while meeting system requirements and meeting core success metrics as defined by the Discovery Phase. These include:
- Creating core documents such as content inventories and site maps that show the overall organization of the content within the site or app.
- Designing wireframes based upon user task flows to outline how the site or app will behave from screen to screen for the user.
- Developing high-fidelity clickable mockups and prototypes in tools such as Axure and Adobe Creative Cloud to be used in the testing phase.
Testing
It is during the testing phase that the prototype and wireframes design “kinks” are worked out. Here, we fine-tune the design based on user feedback and performance, and present the results back to the design and development teams to “fine-tune” the design. This includes:
- Performing A/B Testing to compare various versions of the design in a “lab setting” with users which may be conducted in-person or remotely.
- Multi-platform testing if it is a responsive design or mobile testing which requires a mobile recording set up.
- Analyzing and summarizing results for team members that may include design as well as technical members.
